Laser Cutting allows flexible and precise cutting of different materials with limited post processing required. The laser is used to melt the material and a high pressure nozzle is used to blow out the melt pool. By incorporating laser cutting, the part can be cut directly from a sheet of metal.
Laser Forming
Laser Forming is a contactless forming process that uses localized heat from the laser to deform the material - No external force is applied. This means that there is no need to develop part specific tools or dies. Just update the cad model to make a different part. Using Laser Forming in combination with Laser Cutting means that full parts can be cut and bend without handling.
